Gwerin y Coed is the Woodcraft Folk in Wales, an educational movement for children and young people. We aim to develop self confidence and activity in society, with the aim of building a sustainable world based on equality, friendship, peace and co-operation. Gwerin members have been marching and protesting against the Tory-LibDem coalition government proposal to treble top-up fees for students whose homes are in England.
How can everyone in the world have enough to eat?

Port Eynon, Gower.
This year the Gwerin Annual Gathering will be held at two hostels in Port Eynon from the 25th to the 27th of November. Port Eynon is a popular seaside village on the Gower, about fifteen miles south west of Swansea. There will be an opportunity to walk on the beach, to sing and to take part in various activities. There will be training sessions and workshops. Full program to follow soon.
On Saturday afternoon the Annual Meeting will be excitingly serious! There will be workshops and hustings for elections to Welsh Council.
